KOMPAS.com - Itel, a smartphone vendor under Transsion Holdings, has officially launched its latest entry‑level phone, the Itel Zeno 100, in the Indian market on Saturday (7 March 2026). Although positioned as an affordable device, it comes with a feature rarely seen in its price class: MIL‑STD certification. Military Standard is the United States Department of Defence testing standard system, managed by the local military authority. In the gadget industry, military certification is used to reassure consumers that the device has undergone various durability tests, and is claimed to offer superior “toughness” compared with ordinary devices. With MIL‑STD‑810H certification, the Itel Zeno 100 is claimed to offer better everyday durability, in line with the company’s slogan, “Rugged”.

The Itel Zeno 100 is equipped with a 6.67‑inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1,612 pixels. The screen supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate and brightness up to 480 nits.

In terms of performance, the phone is powered by a Unisoc T7100 chipset paired with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 2 TB using a microSD card.

For photography, the Itel Zeno 100 features an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera for selfies or video calls.

For power, the device is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery supporting wired charging at 10 W. The Itel Zeno 100 runs on Android 15 (Go Edition).

Connectivity includes dual‑SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi‑Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS and Beidou. Note that the Itel Zeno 100 does not support 5G networks.

In the Indian market, the Itel Zeno 100 is available in three colours: Silk Green, Pure Black and Titanium Gold. The phone is sold via Amazon India, according to KompasTekno, citing GSMArena.
