Itel to hold 'Ngabuburit' event to launch City 200 phone

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Itel is introducing a different launch concept for its latest phone, the Itel City 200, through an event titled “Mission Ngabuburit Mencari Siti” which will be held at Blok M Hub, Jakarta.

“With this live shopping session, the public can witness product demonstrations in real-time, participate in exciting interactions with the host, and receive special offers during the broadcast,” said Marketing Manager of Itel Indonesia, Geza Febriandi, in a statement in Jakarta, Thursday.

The event invites the public to enjoy the Ngabuburit atmosphere while trying out the latest Itel phone. The event is open to the public without an entrance fee and provides free snacks for visitors.

In terms of durability, the City 200 is equipped with IP65 certification which is claimed to be resistant to dust and water splashes, as well as the Military-Grade MIL-STD-810H durability standard for resistance to certain extreme conditions.

At the event, visitors can participate in a number of activities such as #Ngabuburit Bareng Aldi Taher through entertainment and singing sessions, as well as the #HitTheCity Challenge, which is a ball-throwing game with the chance to win a City 200 unit.

Not only that, the City 200 will also be marketed exclusively through TikTok Shop by Tokopedia during the 3.3 double date promo.

Through this interactive and live commerce concept, Itel is targeting young people as the main market for the City 200 with an approach that is considered more relevant and interactive.
