itel releases rugged A300C smartphone with 6000 mAh battery capacity
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Chinese smartphone brand, itel, has released a new smartphone named the itel A300C, which is equipped with military standards, making it one of the rugged smartphone options available.
The device has launched in the Indian market and offers an attractive large battery capacity of 6000 mAh.
Quoting GSM Arena on Friday (18/9) local time, the itel A300C is an affordable entry-level phone equipped with essential memory, including 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Due to the small internal capacity, itel provides expansion space via an external microSD memory slot supporting up to 2TB.
The phone is claimed to have obtained MIL-STD-810H certification after undergoing repeated drop testing.
However, it should be noted that the phone does not have an official rating regarding dust and water resistance.
On a positive note, itel offers free screen replacement during the first 100 days after the purchase of the phone.
Discussing broader specifications, the itel A300C is equipped with a 6.56-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
There is a 5MP selfie camera located in the screen notch, while the rear features a main camera with an 8MP sensor.
The integrated 6,000mAh battery is also considered highly attractive, with a capacity larger than other affordable smartphones.
An integrated fingerprint reader is also available on the power button.
Given its affordable price, it is unsurprising that the included chipset is modest, utilising the Unisoc T7100, which is also used in the itel A90.
With this chip, the phone runs on the Android 16 Go Edition operating system and supports 4G connectivity.
The smartphone is offered at a price of 11,000 rupees (approximately Rp2 million), which is considered attractive for those seeking a cheap yet durable phone with a large battery.
It is not yet known whether itel has released this device only in India or in other markets.
