Mataram (ANTARA) - InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) is preparing additional accommodation options, including 38 new rooms owned by the state-owned enterprise, to support the needs of spectators for the 2026 MotoGP Mandalika.

“We are also providing alternative accommodation. Not just camping grounds and campervans, but we also have accommodation owned by ITDC,” said ITDC Operations Director Troy Reza Warokka following the 2026 MotoGP Preparation Meeting in Mataram on Monday.

Troy stated that the accommodation prepared by ITDC serves as an alternative for spectators requiring lodging during the international motorcycle racing event.

According to him, the expansion of accommodation options is being implemented to provide convenience for spectators travelling to Mandalika to witness the MotoGP from 9–11 October 2026.

One such initiative includes the Sade Social Space, which provides an additional 38 rooms and will be available for use by September 2026.

ITDC is also continuing preparations within the Mandalika area ahead of the MotoGP, which is scheduled to take place in October 2026.

These preparations encompass various event requirements, including supporting facilities for spectators and tourists visiting the area.

“The provision of alternative accommodation is expected to offer more choices for tourists while they are in the Mandalika area,” he added.
