ITDC Accelerates Rejuvenation of Peninsula Island, Arrangement Progress Reaches 14.42 Percent
PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia, or ITDC, is continuing its rejuvenation programme at Peninsula Island in The Nusa Dua area, Bali, as part of infrastructure and public facility arrangements in the tourist destination. Based on achievements up to the 16th week or the period from 12 to 18 April 2026, the work realisation is recorded at 14.42 percent. Several main work packages are also showing progress, starting from the rejuvenation and arrangement of access roads from Gate AC to Peninsula Island, which has reached 30.48 percent. According to Agus, the current work focus includes arranging area access, improving landscapes, and strengthening supporting facilities to enhance public space comfort for tourists and tourism industry players. In addition, the construction of rainwater infiltration units in the The Bay area roads is being carried out simultaneously with the development of supporting facilities such as tourist toilets and massage pavilions for community groups. ITDC states that the project implementation continues to prioritise work safety aspects, along with strengthened supervision of construction quality and material procurement to support the smooth progress of the work.
