ITB Cenago Analysis: Sumatra Floods Triggered by Extreme Weather

The Centre for Analysis and Applying Geospatial Information at the Bandung Institute of Technology (Cenago ITB) has completed a forensic study into the triggers of flooding across three river basins (DAS) — Badiri, Garoga, and Batang — in Sumatra.

The study found that extreme weather was the primary driver behind the floods that struck the region.
