The banking industry is required to run more efficient operations while maintaining service quality and compliance. Therefore, workplace solutions are an important aspect of operations that can increase productivity, efficiency and compliance, while creating a better experience for both employees and customers.

Responding to this need, ISS Indonesia held Banking Connect 2026 with the theme “Building Future-Ready Banking Operations: Lean, Smart and Sustainable” in Jakarta on Thursday (21/8/2026). The forum brought together regulators, business associations and banking industry players to share perspectives on developments in labour regulations, including outsourcing management, as well as the use of technology in building more efficient operations.

ISS Indonesia CEO Muhammad Sofyan said the company sees that regulatory developments, technology and efficiency demands can be supported by a more measurable and results-oriented workplace solution transformation. Particularly in banking, which implements hybrid working, an approach is needed that integrates human resources, processes and technology to support more adaptive and efficient operations.

“Banking requires a workplace solution transformation that is able to integrate people, processes and technology. Through results-oriented Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services, ISS Indonesia helps banks carry out workplace transformation to improve operational efficiency,” Sofyan said in a press release in Jakarta on Friday (21/8/2026).
