Israeli Quadcopter Kills Palestinian Boy Searching for Clean Water

A Palestinian child was killed and another injured on Friday morning after an unmanned aerial vehicle (quadcopter) belonging to Israeli forces dropped a bomb on them. The tragic incident occurred as the two children were trying to collect clean water in the Old City area of Gaza City. According to information from Civil Defense, the two boys were filling containers with water in the area behind the Al-Omari Mosque when the Israeli drone strike suddenly hit them. One child was reported killed instantly at the scene, while the second child sustained injuries. This deadly incident took place amid a ceasefire that was supposed to be in effect. Nevertheless, Israeli aggression and acts of genocide along the Gaza Strip have proven to continue, reported Palestine Chronicle. According to a report by Quds News Network, Israeli military tanks fired successive rounds towards the southern areas of Khan Younis and Rafah. The shelling reportedly reached tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Rafah area. In addition, Israeli Apache helicopters strafed the eastern area of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza and the eastern areas of Gaza City. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery units bombarded the eastern neighbourhoods of Gaza City, the town of Jabaliya, and the northwestern areas of Rafah.
