Israeli MP Labels Turkey 'Enemy State' Amid Erdogan's Threats

Israeli parliament member Ariel Kellner has declared that Turkey is an ‘enemy state’ amid rising tensions between the two countries. Kellner, a Knesset member from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party, said in an interview with Israel’s Galei radio that Turkey is an enemy state and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a dictator seeking to restore the Islamic caliphate. ‘He is a very dangerous person who deeply hates Israel,’ Kellner said. He added that Israel and Western countries should view him as a threat. Kellner’s comments came after Erdogan said on Tuesday that Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon had reached a point where the military operations posed a threat to Turkey. Erdogan said Israeli aggression threatens the security of the entire world. ‘Israel must be stopped, this is a humanitarian duty,’ Erdogan said.
