Israeli forces detain three school principals in Bethlehem

Israeli occupation forces detained three school principals in al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, on Monday and interrogated them on-site. Alaa Hajjaj, principal of al-Khader Boys’ Secondary School, told WAFA that Israeli forces attacked Saeed al-Aas Primary School and detained its principal, Maher Abu Khairan. Simultaneously, Samah Ramadan, principal of Dhat al-Nitaqain Girls’ Primary School, was also arrested. The school administrators were held in a classroom and interrogated on-site while being threatened with further arrests and raids. The al-Khader school complex, located near Route 60, is frequently targeted by Israeli forces. These attacks include school raids, harassment of students, and detention of teaching staff, all aimed at disrupting the education process.
