Israel launches air strikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure
Istanbul (ANTARA) – The Israeli military said on Sunday that it had carried out air strikes targeting what it described as “Iranian military infrastructure” across various parts of the country. In a statement, the military said it had launched a “wave of air strikes targeting the Iranian regime’s military infrastructure across Iran.” The Israeli military also added that its forces attacked an F-14 fighter jet at Isfahan International Airport. As of 07:00 GMT (14:00 WIB), there had been no official comment from Iran regarding the reported strikes. Regional tensions have escalated since the United States and Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran on February 28, which has so far reportedly killed more than 1,000 people, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, more than 150 schoolgirls, as well as several senior military officials. Iran has retaliated with a series of large-scale attacks targeting US bases, diplomatic facilities, and military personnel across the region, as well as several cities in Israel. The attacks continue to intensify. Source: Anadolu.
