Israel Faces Renewed Iranian Missile Barrage as US Confirms Tehran's Nuclear Site Has Been Inactive for Years

The latest wave of Iranian missile attacks on Israel has caused damage in various locations, according to Israeli media reports. Israel’s Broadcasting Authority aired footage of significant damage to a building in Ramat Gan, east of Tel Aviv. The Times of Israel reported, citing emergency services, that damage occurred in several locations in central Israel due to cluster munitions from Iranian missiles, including to one house. There are no reports of injuries from the latest strikes, according to the statements. Meanwhile, Tulsi Gabbard, the US Director of National Intelligence, told the US Senate intelligence committee that Iran’s nuclear enrichment programme was destroyed in attacks last June, and the US has seen no efforts from Tehran to rebuild its enrichment capabilities since then. In a prepared speech, she said that Iran and its proxies remain capable of attacking US interests and allies in the Middle East.
