The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has detained two new suspects as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged corruption involving Hajj quotas during the 2023-2024 pilgrimage season. The detainees are Ismail Adham, the Operational Director of PT Makassar Toraja (Maktour), and Asrul Azis Taba, a Commissioner of PT Raudah Eksati and General Chairperson of the Asosiasi Kesthuri.

The suspects were seen wearing detention vests following their interrogation at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Monday (8/6/2026). The arrests are part of the KPK’s efforts to expand the case regarding the mismanagement of Hajj quotas during the specified period.
