ISLE 2026 Successfully Establishes New Trends for Smart Displays and System Integration
Shenzhen, China — The ISLE 2026 global technology exhibition concluded on 7 March at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, establishing itself as the leading platform for display innovation and system integration industry trends. The event showcased the latest achievements across the entire display industry chain, including LED displays, audio-visual system integration, professional lighting and audio systems, and stage equipment.
With an exhibition area spanning 80,000 square metres, ISLE 2026 attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors, both in-person and online. Despite temporary civil aviation disruptions in the Middle East due to regional conflict prior to the exhibition opening, the number of international buyers increased by 6% compared to the previous edition, demonstrating ISLE’s global influence and strategic importance.
China remains the world’s largest market for LED display manufacturing and applications, with ISLE serving as the primary platform for leading companies to launch latest products and solutions. Several key technology trends emerged at ISLE 2026:
COB and MIP established themselves as the two primary technological pathways in LED displays. Manufacturers unveiled various Micro-LED innovations and fine-pitch COB LED display technologies, offering advantages such as high contrast, high reliability, low power consumption, and lighter designs, alongside significant improvements in colour quality, lifespan, and response speed. These products are widely utilised in premium conference rooms and commercial displays.
Artificial intelligence increasingly integrated throughout the industry chain. AI technology is now applied at various stages of the industry. On the content side, large AI models assist in content creation and more diverse visual interactions, whilst on the systems side, AI enables intelligent control of display systems, enhancing performance and operational efficiency.
Focus on green development and low-carbon solutions intensified. Sustainability has become a new industry consensus, with innovations including energy-efficient design, common-cathode technology for power efficiency, and air-conditioning-free cooling systems becoming standard features in LED display products.
Physical display boundaries continued to dissolve. Hundreds of companies introduced innovative products including transparent screens, holographic displays, textured screens, and creatively shaped displays, combining display technology with spatial design and artistic decoration to deliver new visual experiences for commercial, residential, and public art spaces.
System integration solutions increasingly centred on scenario-based applications. The era of single hardware-focused products is giving way to comprehensive one-stop integrated solutions, including offerings for commercial retail, command centres, smart meeting rooms, broadcasting, stage productions, tourism, and home entertainment. This approach provides a vision of future solutions that are more readily adopted across various industries.
