The programs with an Islamic tone aired by several private TV
stations lately deserve a warm welcome, because such films are
very beneficial and provide guidance through their important
messages.

Presented by among others TPI, SCTV and Lativi, the shows
carry religious values and generally demonstrate divine powers
beyond human reasoning, which are derived from legends as well as
true stories.

The educative entertainment programs are made complete with
the appearance of Islamic teachers explaining the morals of their
themes by quoting verses of the Koran. In this way, TV audiences
are expected to avoid the temptations of evil.

Television therefore serves also as a media of learning and
education for society apart from the function of entertainment,
through religious dramas that have a positive impact on the
population now facing a moral crisis.
