Police have named the head of an Islamic boarding school in Tajurhalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, as a suspect in the sexual abuse of female students. The suspect, identified by the initial N, has been detained at the Bojongede Police Station. “The father, N, has been detained. He has been named a suspect and is in custody,” said Kanit PPA of the Depok Metro Police, AKP Tamar, when contacted on Wednesday. N is alleged to have committed the abuse together with his son, identified as S. Tamar stated that S currently remains a witness. “Not yet, not yet a suspect. News of the alleged abuse spread within the boarding school community, after which victims began sharing information with one another about being abused by S.
