This growth was driven by a rise in insurance service income to Rp3.97 trillion and investment income, including PAYDI, reaching Rp5.09 trillion. In 2025, net insurance service income stood at Rp299.77 billion, with net insurance and investment income totalling Rp1.28 trillion and comprehensive profit at Rp859.4 billion. PT Manulife Asset Management Indonesia (MAMI), with 30 years in asset management, has reinforced its position as Indonesia’s largest asset manager since 2020. In 2025, MAMI secured an 11.94% market share among approximately 90 asset management firms in Indonesia, with total assets under management of Rp124.3 trillion. Manulife Mutual Fund assets reached Rp63 trillion, the largest in the industry with a 9.33% market share. MAMI consistently maintains its industry leadership by offering innovative, high-quality investment solutions including mutual funds and Fund Management Contracts, while prioritising client interests through disciplined portfolio management and strong governance. ‘We maintain a robust balance between risk management discipline and consistent alpha generation across all managed portfolios,’ said Afifa, CEO and President Director of MAMI. Following its official launch as an independent entity in December 2024, Manulife Syariah Indonesia recorded positive performance growth in 2025. The company reported total business revenue of Rp302.1 billion, a significant rise from Rp66.5 billion in 2024. This performance drove asset growth to Rp1.55 trillion, supported by strong solvency ratios: Tabarru’ and Waqf Fund solvency ratio of 797% and Company Fund solvency ratio of 5,433%, both well above OJK requirements. Throughout 2025, Manulife Syariah Indonesia distributed Rp83.9 billion in benefits to participants through claims payments, a 99% increase from the previous year, reflecting the company’s active role in providing Sharia-compliant financial protection. The company also recorded a Rp766 million underwriting surplus in the Tabarru’ fund, indicating healthy participant fund management. ‘On our first year of operations as an independent Sharia business, we have seen positive market response, as reflected in our rapid growth,’ said Fauzi Arfan, President Director & CEO of Manulife Syariah Indonesia.
