ISC Achieves PCI DSS Certification, Strengthening Tier IV Data Centre Security
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Super Corridor (ISC) has achieved PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certification for its Tier IV Data Centre facility at ISC Tower, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta. This step is taken to align the operational standards of the facility with digital transaction data security.
The certification was obtained through an assessment by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), referring to the PCI DSS standards developed by the PCI Security Standards Council. The PCI DSS standard serves as a technical benchmark for protecting payment account data and regulating security controls for organisations that store, process, or transmit sensitive data.
The implementation of this global security standard complements the readiness of the ISC data centre facility, which is designed with a capacity of up to 750 racks, power supply up to 20 MW, and a colocation Service Level Agreement (SLA) of up to 99.995 per cent.
“We comply with and maintain all applicable PCI DSS requirements because the services we provide involve customer cardholder data. Data protection is an essential aspect of our facility governance,” said Benyamin P. Naibaho, Founder of ISC.
The application of PCI DSS standards at the ISC facility is relevant for partners or customers from the financial sector, payment systems, and e-commerce that require strict access management. Compliance with these data protection standards aligns with ISC’s service portfolio, which includes colocation provision, internet exchange, cloud services, as well as data centre consultation and construction that have been operational for nearly two decades.
