Jakarta’s provincial government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) has officially launched the 2026 Religious Holiday Allowance (THR Keagamaan) Help Desk, operating from 2 to 27 March 2026. The desk serves as a consulting hub and channel for worker complaints to help ensure THR payments go smoothly as Eid al-Fitr approaches.

Head of the Department of Labour, Transmigration and Energy (Disnakertransgi) Syaripudin explained that the presence of the post is a concrete government step to protect workers’ rights. ‘Through this service, workers and companies can obtain explanations on the provisions for religious THR, the calculation mechanism, and the complaint procedures if problems arise in its implementation,’ he was quoted as saying by Antara on Friday 6 March.

For the public needing assistance related to THR, the Pemprov DKI provides a dedicated communications channel as follows:

Syaripudin emphasised that the post is expected to encourage companies in Jakarta to comply with timely THR payments in line with the applicable regulations. This is important to maintain industrial relations between workers and employers in a harmonious, dynamic, and just manner ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

Previously, the government has mandated that THR for private employees must be paid in full no later than seven days before Eid, or H-7. Companies are not allowed to pay THR in instalments.

With this post, workers can more easily lodge complaints or seek assistance if they encounter obstacles in receiving THR and religious allowances.
