Is the Japek II South Toll Access Already Connected to JORR 2?
PURWAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Returnees planning to pass through the functional Jakarta–Cikampek II South Toll Road during the 2026 Lebaran return flow will now have an alternative to return to the Jabodetabek area. However, a common question arises: is this route fully connected to JORR 2? The President Director of PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan, Charles Lendra, stated that functionally, this toll section can indeed be traversed up to the Setu area in Bekasi. This means returnees travelling from east to west can now approach access to the outer ring road network, such as JORR 2. However, the current condition is not yet fully ideal like a typical operational toll road. “It is connected. But because it is not yet fully like an operational toll, vehicles will be directed out at MT Haryono,” he said. “There, users have options, whether to re-enter the toll, for example towards Bogor via Cimanggis or towards Cibitung and Cikampek, or to choose the arterial route,” Charles added. “If exiting at MT Haryono Burangkeng, that is the Bekasi area. From there, to the right towards Cileungsi, to the left towards Bekasi, including Tambun,” he explained. “From there, (to enter JORR 2) about 100–110 metres away there is access to the Burangkeng Toll Gate which connects to JORR 2,” Charles said. “Yes, it is not fully connected. In the interchange area, there is still land acquisition that has not been completed. From that segment to Sukaragam, there is still about 12 per cent of land that has not been acquired,” he added. Users still have to pass through arterial routes first before re-entering the toll network, so they need to anticipate potential density at those transition points.
