Is Nusron Wahid Being Questioned Today? Here Is the KPK’s Answer
JAKARTA — The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has so far said little about reports that Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Minister and National Land Agency (BPN) head Nusron Wahid would be questioned today. However, the KPK has assured the public that any questioning of Nusron will be conducted transparently.
“Regarding the summons of any witness, we will of course announce it in due course and share the information with our colleagues in the media as a form of transparency in the legal process we are pursuing,” KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo told reporters on Tuesday (27 October 2026).
The KPK said it was still reviewing plans to summon Nusron and had not specified a date for his questioning.
“At present, investigators are still considering the summons for Mr NW. As for the two reasons behind the previous scheduling of the summons, we will inform our colleagues once a summons has been issued,” Budi said.
Nusron is due to be questioned by the KPK as a witness in a case involving alleged bribery in the processing of building-use rights (HGB) for Summarecon Bogor and corruption at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency. Nusron has failed to attend questioning twice.
Earlier, Boyamin Saiman, coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Community (MAKI), claimed he had received information that the KPK would question Nusron on Wednesday (28 October 2026).
