Is Akbar truly forgetful?

The alleged corruption concerning the Rp 40 billion funds of
the State Logistics Agency (Bulog), in which some popular names
like Akbar Tanjung, Haryono Suyono, etc, are involved, has shown
that these people have played their role well.

If Akbar Tandjung does not remember at all about the use of
the nonbudgetary Bulog funds, apparently he is an unsuitable
leader due to his bad memory. A leading figure as prominent as
Akbar Tanjung, a former senior official of the functional group
(Golkar), several-times minister and now House Speaker, should
have a memory better than that of ordinary people.

As a former leader of university students such as the Islamic
Students Association, a former "66 generation" member, a Golkar
leader and a national figure, Akbar is not just anybody. He is
just like the latest version of Windows, a multitasking and
entertaining piece of software.

Therefore, I think that Akbar is only pretending. He must
still remember that Bulog funds have been spent on many things,
perhaps related to his political party or his own interests.
