Today is the last day of the 2026 Lebaran holiday. Based on the SKB of 3 Ministers on National Holidays and Collective Leave for 2026, the collective leave for Lebaran 2026 extends until Tuesday (24/3/2026). This means that tomorrow, Wednesday, 25 March, is no longer part of the 2026 Lebaran holiday. Nevertheless, schoolchildren still have holidays, and workers can still engage in work from anywhere (WFA). Here is the information.
Schedule for Schoolchildren’s Lebaran Holiday 2026
Based on the Joint Circular from the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia, the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 5 of 2026, Number 2 of 2026, and Number 400.1/857/SJ Concerning Learning During the Month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah/2026 AD, the Lebaran holiday for schoolchildren in 2026 lasts until 27 March. They will return to school on Monday, 30 March 2026.
“On 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 March 2026 as well as 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27 March 2026, these constitute collective holidays for Idulfitri for schools/madrasahs/early childhood education units/religious education units. During the Idulfitri holiday, pupils are encouraged to engage in silaturahmi with family and society to enhance brotherhood and unity,” states point four of the circular.
