IRSX accelerates film, commerce, and micro-drama production using AI technology
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Folago Global Nusantara Tbk (IRSX), through its subsidiary PT Folago Artificial Intelligence Commerce (FAIC), is accelerating the development of film, micro-drama, and commerce production by utilising artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
IRSX President Director Subioto Jingga emphasised that Folago will expand and accelerate its content production capacity within the AI Commerce segment (AI TVC, AI Live Streaming, and AIGC) via the KreasiKita platform, as well as in AI Entertainment (AI Movie, AI Micro Drama, and AI Music).
“At the same time, we are accelerating the development of AIGC solutions to support the online commerce ecosystem, with a specific focus on helping Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) access AI-based content production technology more affordably and efficiently,” he stated in an official statement in Jakarta on Friday.
Subioto explained that this move is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its position as an integrated player at the intersection of three industries: AI, Media Commerce, and Entertainment in Indonesia.
By using cutting-edge video-generation models such as Dreamina Seedance 2.5, he noted that FAIC gains the flexibility to enrich the creative process and expand the possibilities of content production.
“This AI model serves as an enabler that accelerates the execution of ideas, providing space for creative teams to be more exploratory in producing high-quality content according to output requirements, and ultimately helping Folago accelerate the achievement of the company’s goals as a leading AI player in Indonesia,” he said.
Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is the latest generation of the AI video generation model, succeeding Dreamina Seedance 2.0. Its primary advantage is the ability to generate videos up to 30 seconds in a single process—double the duration of the previous version—resulting in more complete scenes that do not require stitching from short clips.
“This model also supports up to 50 references (images, videos, etc.) for more precise control over characters, style, and movement,” said Subioto.
Regarding market positioning, he noted that the global AI video generation industry is experiencing rapid growth and is projected to continue expanding in the coming years.
Consequently, the company believes that its exposure to this segment through FAIC places the firm on a sector growth curve that has historically commanded higher premium valuations compared to conventional media companies.
“Particularly if supported by measurable MSME adoption rates in the future, this has the potential to position IRSX as a major player in AI-based content production in Indonesia,” he added.
Furthermore, he stated that the use of AI video-generation models will strengthen production capacity in the AI Micro Drama, AI Movie, and AI Music segments, while reinforcing Folago’s position as an integrated player in Indonesia’s AI, Media Commerce, and Entertainment industries.
“This strategic partnership through FAIC does not stand alone; the AIGC capabilities being built have the potential to serve as an enabler across various business lines within the Folago ecosystem, from social commerce to live entertainment, making this step a foundation for mutually reinforcing growth for the group as a whole,” concluded Subiote.
