Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that its naval and aerospace forces launched a joint operation using missiles and drones. The operation targeted key infrastructure and facilities at American military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain.

In an official statement released by the IRGC Public Relations Office, it was stated that this operation is the first phase of Iran’s response to the violation of commitments and aggression carried out by the United States against Tehran.

According to the statement, the Iranian aerial assault targeted several US bases in Kuwait, including Camp Arifjan and Ali al-Salem. Additionally, US military facilities in Bahrain, including Juffair and Sheikh Isa, were also targeted.

The IRGC warned that if US aggression continues, the scale of their response will be expanded to other American bases across the Middle East region.

This announcement from the IRGC follows a new wave of attacks launched by the United States on various locations within Iranian territory. An Al Mayadeen correspondent in Tehran reported that this latest US aggression is the largest against Iran since the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two parties. The most intensive strikes were reported to have targeted the port of Chabahar in southern Iran.

Reports from Iranian sources indicate that the US strikes hit several civilian infrastructure sites. In Chabahar port, the attacks struck two maritime docks and a navigation control tower. Furthermore, shrapnel from US projectiles reportedly struck the Imam Ali Hospital in Chabahar.
