IRGC claims attacks on petrochemical plants in Haifa, Israel
Tehran (ANTARA) - The Iranian military attacked several petrochemical plants in Haifa, Israel, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Monday. Earlier that day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced strikes against several targets within a petrochemical complex in the city of Bandar-e Mahshahr, Iran. The Iranian Ministry of Petroleum subsequently confirmed the Israeli attacks on several targets in the southwest of the country. “A few minutes ago, IRGC guerrillas launched missile attacks against several similar companies in Haifa in retaliation for the enemy American-Zionist attack on one of the petrochemical companies,” the IRGC stated, as quoted by the Tasnim news agency.
