Irfan Hakim prioritises rapid distribution of thousands of sacrificial meat packages

BEKASI (ANTARA) — Presenter Irfan Hakim has prioritised the rapid distribution of thousands of sacrificial meat packages to communities across several areas during the celebration of Idul Adha 1447 Hijriah.

Irfan stated that the sacrificial meat is distributed quickly after slaughter to maintain freshness upon delivery to the public. “We slaughter, pack immediately, and send it right away to ensure the meat stays fresh,” Irfan Hakim said at his residence in Bekasi on Thursday.

According to Irfan, residents in the surrounding area have been registered through local RT and RW units to streamline the distribution process. “The RT and RW attached to my house will all receive it, insha’Allah,” he said. “For the general public, we will prepare around 1,000 packages after Asr prayer,” he added.

Irfan estimated that this year’s total sacrificial meat packages distributed exceed 5,000. “More than 5,000, a lot more,” he said. “In total, 21 cows have been entrusted for slaughter here by well-wishers,” Irfan said.

Dozens of volunteers were busy packing the sacrificial meat into plastic bags before distribution to recipients. At the venue, volunteers also displayed a schedule for the meat distribution starting at 18:30 WIB to manage crowds. “Above all, we must avoid waste,” Irfan said.

One resident expressed delight at receiving sacrificial meat again from Irfan Hakim’s annual event. “Very happy. It happens here every year,” the recipient said. He added that residents began queuing before Asr prayer and received approximately one kilogram of meat. “May blessings continue for all,” he added.
