Iran's Revolutionary Guards claim attack on IDF headquarters and Israeli Defence Ministry
Tehran, (ANTARA) - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Wednesday (3 March) that it had attacked the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) General Staff Headquarters and the Ministry of Defence building in the latest strike against Israel. In a statement cited by the Fars News Agency, the IRGC said the targets also included strategic infrastructure in Bnei Brak, military facilities in Petah Tikva in the northeast of Tel Aviv, and a military hub in Western Galilee. The IRGC also stated that more than 680 US and Israeli soldiers have been killed or wounded since the start of the conflict with Iran. On 28 February, the US and Israel launched a series of strikes against several targets in Iran, including Tehran, with reports of damage and civilian casualties. Iran’s state television confirmed that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in that attack.
