Iran's Chief Negotiator Says Iran Ready to Respond to US Threats
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned the United States on Sunday to be careful with its statements, responding to President Donald Trump’s threats to attack Iran again over its support for Hezbollah. Ghalibaf, who is leading Iran’s negotiating team for talks with the US at the Buergenstock resort in Switzerland, wrote on social media platform X that if US threats had any influence, they would not have reached this point of desperation. “They had better be careful with their statements. Our armed forces are ready to respond in other ways,” Ghalibaf said. Via his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump threatened on Sunday to “hit Iran again very hard” if the country does not stop Hezbollah from “causing trouble.”
