Iran has launched further retaliatory missile strikes against Israel. Damage has been reported at several locations across central Israel following explosions.

According to AFP on Saturday, 14 March 2026, an AFP journalist observed thick black smoke billowing into the sky from a building near a highway on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.

Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency responders stated they had “searched the locations where reports were received; no fatalities were found.”

Additional damage was subsequently reported at multiple sites. In Rishon LeZion, near Ben Gurion International Airport, a crater appeared in a residential road, whilst the roof of a nearby vehicle was buried in the ground.

Elsewhere, a house caught fire in the city of Shoham.

An AFP journalist witnessed fire service personnel spraying water onto a building’s roof to extinguish the flames.

“The fire was caused by a missile and shrapnel that fell afterwards,” Jonathan Saksek, a volunteer firefighter from the United States, told AFP.

“Families have evacuated. The damage is very severe. Fortunately, they are safe,” he said.
