Iranian IRGC Command Vows Response to Israeli Attack Within Hours

Tehran – Iran will retaliate against Israeli attacks within the coming hours, according to a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) command to RIA Novosti on Saturday.

“Our retaliatory response will be launched within the coming hours,” said the IRGC representative.

The IRGC representative added that Israel had “miscalculated” in attacking Iran.

Citing statements from Iran’s Ministry of Education, the ISNA news agency reported that schools across Iran have been closed or have temporarily transitioned to online learning amid attacks by the United States and Israel.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Israel’s Defence Ministry stated that it had launched “preemptive” strikes against Iran and declared a state of emergency across its territory.
