Iranian Foreign Minister Responds to Trump's Accusations, Highlights Israeli Influence in the US
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded on Friday to accusations by US President Donald Trump regarding Iranian interference in US elections, highlighting Israel’s role in misleading the Trump administration. “The American people are warned about foreign influence. What about the massive Israeli campaign to deceive the US government into engaging in an unwinnable war of choice?” Araghchi wrote on the X platform. Previously, in a speech delivered to the American people on Thursday, Trump stated that Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea were suspected of posing a threat to the US electoral system. On the same day, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia rejected the accusations of interference in the US electoral process. The Russian government official added that Moscow has never interfered in the internal affairs of other countries and hopes that no party will interfere in Russia’s internal affairs.
