Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi to Russia to discuss Iran-US conflict

Moscow (ANTARA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that he will discuss the latest developments regarding the Iran-US and Israel conflict during his visit to Russia on Monday. Iran and Russia always discuss all issues, including regional and global ones, Araghchi said via a post on the Telegram platform. “However, due to the war, our meetings were paused for a while. We are using this opportunity to discuss developments related to the war. We will discuss the current situation. Of course, we also need to carry out the necessary coordination,” he said. Araghchi arrived in St. Petersburg on Monday, where he will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, said that Araghchi will also meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
