Iranian Embassy Suddenly Posts Morse Code: A New Warning Sign?
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Iranian Embassy in Indonesia has suddenly posted Morse code on its social media. This was seen in a post on X by @IraninIndonesia on Tuesday.
The Morse code, when decoded, reads “A war was imposed on Iran. But the outcome wasn’t. Iran stood its ground - and soon will win”. In Indonesian, it can be translated as “A war was imposed on Iran. But the outcome wasn’t. Iran stood its ground - and soon will win”.
The Morse code appeared in response to a post on X by the Iranian Embassy in Pakistan. Previously, @IraninIslamabad also featured Morse code.
When translated into English, the code reads “The time is passing and something is about to happen”. In Indonesian, this is interpreted as “Time keeps passing and something is about to happen”.
It is not yet known what this discussion refers to. However, the code appeared before the announcement of a ceasefire by US President Donald Trump for two weeks with Iran.
Pakistan is known to be mediating the ceasefire. The two countries will even meet in Islamabad on Friday, 10 April.
