Iranian Embassy: Donations from Indonesian People Reach Rp 9 Billion
JAKARTA - The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia has reported that donations from the Indonesian public for humanitarian aid have reached Rp 9 billion, precisely Rp 9,069,280,661.
This statement was conveyed by the Iranian Embassy through its official Instagram account @iraninindonesia.

“Alhamdulillah, this humanitarian initiative has received widespread and extraordinary response from Indonesian society. As of 14 April 2026, 24,369 people from various segments of society have participated in this noble movement, with the total funds collected amounting to 9,069,280,661 Indonesian Rupiah,” reads the Iranian Embassy’s Instagram post.
The Iranian Embassy stated that this broad participation is a tangible manifestation of solidarity, care, and deep humanitarian ties between the two nations, Iran and Indonesia.
“With sincere thanks and appreciation to all fellow believers, the noble people of Indonesia, as well as all friends and supporters of the Iranian people, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia hereby reports on the process of fundraising from the public,” wrote the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia.
The Iranian Embassy said that the fundraising process will continue until 30 April 2026.
The embassy mentioned that after the fundraising period ends, all collected funds will be channelled through official mechanisms and in coordination with relevant institutions, namely through the Indonesian Red Cross to the Red Crescent of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its utmost gratitude to the Indonesian people for their trust, support, and participation, and prays for health, blessings, and prosperity for all Indonesian people,” stated the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia.
