REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TEHERAN — The military of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced the launch of a new wave of unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) operations targeting strategic industrial and communication centres affiliated with Israel. This attack is affirmed as a direct response to the aggression by the United States (US) and the Zionist regime against Iran’s vital infrastructure and sovereignty.

In an official statement on Tuesday (31/3/2026) reported by Press TV, the Iranian military detailed that their drone units have struck telecommunications facilities and high-technology development sites belonging to global companies such as Siemens, Telecom, and AT&T operating in the occupied territories. These targets are located in crucial areas, including the vicinity of Ben Gurion Airport and the port city of Haifa.

Military Technology Hub

One of the primary targets in this operation is Siemens’ industrial software centre located in the central region, near Ben Gurion Airport. This facility is known as a hub for developing cutting-edge technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and industrial automation.

Tehran claims that the technology developed at this centre is used by Israel to bolster weapons production lines and support the design of modern military systems. By disabling this facility, Iran aims to sever the technology supply chain that strengthens the Zionist war machine.

Additionally, AT&T’s telecommunications research and development centre in Haifa has also been targeted. This facility is identified as a provider of advanced networking technology, cloud computing, and AI systems that directly support Israel’s field military operations.

“Our forces will continue these operations until all threats to Iran are completely eliminated. Any additional act of aggression will be met with firm action without delay,” reads the official statement from the Iranian Military.
