Tehran (ANTARA) - The main Iranian delegation and its support team have not yet departed for Pakistan to participate in negotiations with the United States, according to a report from Iran’s state television station, IRIB, on Tuesday. The CNN television station reported on Monday (20/4) that the second round of US-Iran negotiations to resolve the conflict is scheduled for 22 April in Islamabad. Previously, on 28 February, the US and Israel launched attacks on several targets in Iran, including in Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. Then, on 7 April, Washington and Tehran announced a two-week ceasefire. The negotiations in Islamabad ended without results. Although there has been no announcement of the resumption of hostilities, the US has begun a blockade of Iranian ports. This has led mediators to attempt to organise a new round of negotiations.
