Iranian Attacks Expose Weak Points in Zionist Israel's Defences, Long Claimed to Be the Most Powerful

On Thursday (26/3/2026), Israel faced a series of attacks launched by Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and several Iraqi factions, resulting in damage across various regions throughout Israel. The Israeli newspaper Hayom reported damage in Hasharon and Gush Dan due to what is suspected to be Iranian cluster missiles, while Israeli media reported debris from projectiles falling in six areas in the greater Tel Aviv region. Media also reported that 13 Israeli citizens were injured due to the Iranian attacks in the northern and central regions, which, according to military expert Brigadier General (Ret.) Nidal Abu Zeid, appear most vulnerable in terms of interception capabilities. Israel’s Weak Points In an Al Jazeera analysis, Abu Zeid stated that Iran is observing Israel’s defence capabilities in the central, northern, and southern regions, and it seems to have detected that Israel’s defence systems do not operate in an integrated manner in the central region. Defence in this area relies on Iron Dome and David’s Sling, systems that handle specific threat regions and types, so their capabilities can be overwhelmed through saturation attacks, which were carried out by Iran and Hezbollah, according to Abu Zeid. This region experienced seven missile attacks during that period, and these attacks successfully reached many areas in the greater Tel Aviv region as well as causing significant damage.
