Iranian Ambassador Ready to Facilitate Indonesian Public Wishing to Donate

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Indonesia has conveyed an official message as a form of appreciation and thanks to the Indonesian government and people for the support provided to the Iranian people amid the ongoing situation.

In the statement, the Iranian Embassy emphasised deep appreciation for the solidarity and attention shown by Indonesia.

“His Excellency Mr Mohammad Boroujerdi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, conveys deep appreciation to the Government and all the people of Indonesia for the solidarity, support, and attention given to the Iranian people,” read the official message from the Iranian Embassy on Wednesday (18/3).

In addition to expressing thanks, the Iranian Embassy also informed of the opening of a humanitarian aid channel. This step is intended to facilitate the public who wish to channel donations and support directly to affected residents in Iran.

The message explained that the aid distribution mechanism has been prepared so that public contributions can be channelled appropriately and effectively.

The Iranian Embassy also outlined the latest developments regarding the situation and conditions in their country due to the ongoing aggression.

This information was provided as a form of transparency as well as to give the Indonesian public a current picture of the impacts felt by the Iranian people.
