Iran: US Attack Death Toll Rises to 38, Over 400 Injured
The death toll from United States attacks on Iran has risen to 38, with more than 400 people wounded, according to Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour. “As of this morning, 38 of our citizens have been killed and over 400 injured,” Kermanpour wrote on the X platform. He noted that three women were among the dead and 22 others were wounded. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated the strikes were a response to Iran’s disruption of commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran retaliated by launching attacks on US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
