Iran to discuss uranium with Russia after US negotiations conclude
Tehran (ANTARA) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that his country will begin discussing the fate of Iran’s uranium with Russia immediately after the United States and Iran begin to resolve issues in their respective countries.
“As soon as we reach this stage, of course, we will conduct further consultations with Russia,” Araghchi said at a press conference on Friday, commenting on the issue of Iran’s enriched uranium exports.
The topic of enriched uranium is not currently included in the agenda for contacts between Tehran and Washington, but the two sides will discuss it again later. However, Iran has thanked Russia for its initiative, Araghchi said.
