Iran Threatens to Strike Remaining US Infrastructure in the Middle East

Iran’s military has threatened to strike the remaining infrastructure of the United States in the Middle East if Washington continues its attacks on Iranian facilities. The warning was delivered by Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

Earlier, on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, US President Donald Trump said he did not want to set a deadline for Iran to resume negotiations, amid new attacks and threats to bomb several bridges in Iran.

“If the US carries out its plan to attack Iran’s infrastructure, then everything that remains intact, namely all infrastructure in the region, will be targeted by the Iranian armed forces,” the Iranian military command said, as quoted by Iranian state television and radio on Thursday, 16 July 2026.

The command also stressed that Iran would not allow the US to interfere in matters relating to the Strait of Hormuz.

Since 8 July, the US military has launched several waves of strikes against Iran. US Central Command stated the attacks were a response to Iranian actions disrupting commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation, Iran launched attacks on US military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
