Moscow – Iran’s National Security Council Secretary Ari Larijani stated on Thursday (12 March) that the Islamic Republic will make US President Donald Trump pay for aggression against Iran.

“Trump says he is seeking a quick victory. Whilst starting a war is easy, war cannot be won with just a few tweets. We will not surrender until we make you regret this serious miscalculation,” he wrote on X.

Trump stated on Wednesday (11 March) that Iran was “nearly at the end of the road.” He also threatened to destroy Iran’s electrical capacity within an hour, but expressed hope that such action would not be necessary.

Iran has attacked Israeli territory and US military targets in the Middle East in retaliation for a joint military operation launched by the United States and Israel on 28 February.

The military aggression on the first day resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and struck a girls’ school in southern Iran, killing nearly 200 female students.

Iran estimates that the total death toll from the brutal US-Israeli attacks exceeds 1,200 people.
