Iran Threatens to Attack Remaining US Infrastructure in the Middle East
Tehran (ANTARA) - The Iranian military will attack the remaining United States infrastructure in the Middle East if the US continues to launch strikes against Iranian facilities, said Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters Spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari on Thursday. Previously, on Wednesday (15/7), US President Donald Trump said he did not want to set a deadline for Iran to resume negotiations amid new attacks and threats to bomb several bridges in Iran. “If the US carries out its plan to attack Iran’s infrastructure, then everything that remains intact, namely all infrastructure in the region, will be the target of a devastating attack by the Iranian armed forces,” the Iranian Military Command said, as quoted by Iranian state television and radio. Since 8 July, the US military has launched several waves of attacks against Iran. US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated the attacks were a response to Iran’s actions disrupting commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. In retaliation, Iran launched attacks on US military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
