Iran Strikes US Military Bases in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait

The Iranian military has expanded its retaliatory strikes against the United States, targeting a number of US military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait on Friday morning, local time. Tehran stated the operation was a response to recent Washington attacks on Iranian territory.

The Iranian military said it launched Arash suicide drones at several American military installations, including the Isa Air Base in Bahrain. “This morning, fuel tanks, a large equipment warehouse, silos, and barracks housing American terrorist troops at Isa Air Base in Bahrain were targeted by Arash suicide drones,” a military statement broadcast on state television said. Explosions were heard in Bahrain accompanied by warning sirens in the morning.

Tehran also claimed to have struck the Al-Azraq base in Jordan, targeting aircraft hangars, aviation maintenance facilities, and military barracks used by American forces. In a separate statement, the Iranian military said drones were also flown at several US military facilities in Kuwait, including equipment warehouses at Camp Udairi and American personnel locations at Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it also attacked the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, claiming the strike destroyed an ammunition depot and caused casualties among US military personnel. The Iranian government asserted that all US military facilities and bases in the Middle East used to launch attacks against Iran are legitimate targets for retaliation. “Every facility or base in the Middle East used by the American military to attack Iran is a legitimate target for our retaliation,” the Iranian military statement said.
