Iran Sends Missiles to Kuwait and Bahrain, Sirens Wail

The Iranian military has launched a new attack on several countries in the Middle East, this time directing missiles and drones at Kuwait and Bahrain. “Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through criminal attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain,” the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said in a statement. Bahraini officials confirmed that their air defence systems were on alert and successfully intercepted a number of dangerous aerial attacks from Iran. In Kuwait, the armed forces reported they were responding to hostile missile and drone threats, though they did not explicitly name the source of the attacks. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence stated that its air defences were intercepting enemy missiles and drones as part of a “vicious Iranian aggression”. Sirens were heard across several areas in both Bahrain and Kuwait, with authorities urging residents to move to the nearest safe locations.
