Iran Launches 12 Missiles at US Fighter Jets in Jordan
Moscow - Iran has launched 12 ballistic missiles to attack US military facilities, including fleets of F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets, key installations, and a command centre at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base near the city of Azraq in Jordan.
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday accused Tehran of hindering negotiations and threatened that the US would launch large-scale strikes on Iran.
The Pentagon Command Centre announced on Wednesday (10/6) that it had launched attacks on Iran under the direction of the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, citing a military source, reported that the Iranian Armed Forces were on alert for potential US strikes and, when attacked by US forces, Tehran would strike a number of US targets in the Middle East.
Following the US strikes on the country, Iran launched missile attacks on the US Harir Air Base in the northern Iraq region, as reported by the Nour News agency.
