Iran-Israel Conflict Escalation Leads to Flight Cancellations from Bali to Dubai and Doha
Denpasar — A number of flights from Bali to the Middle East have experienced delays and cancellations due to the escalating Iran-Israel conflict. Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi, Communication and Legal Division Head of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, stated that as of Saturday evening (28 February 2026), several flight routes have undergone delays and schedule adjustments.
“Nevertheless, flight operations and airport services at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali are generally running normally,” he said in a written statement.
As of Saturday (28 February 2026) at 21:00 WITA, several flights experiencing schedule adjustments include:
— Etihad EY477 from Denpasar (DPS) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) delayed.
— Emirates EK369 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB) cancelled.
— Emirates EK399 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB) cancelled.
— Qatar Airways QR963 from Denpasar (DPS) to Doha (DOH) cancelled.
The management of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), the operator of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali, continues to coordinate with various institutions, particularly airlines, for schedule updates and passenger assistance for travellers already at the airport.
Coordination is also being conducted with AirNav Indonesia to monitor affected airspace, as well as with security personnel to anticipate security situations at the airport.
“We urge prospective passengers to continue communicating with their respective airlines to obtain the latest information regarding flight schedules,” he stated.
