Iran: If Netanyahu Remains Alive, We Will Pursue and Kill Him
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed to target Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The declaration was made by the IRGC as the conflict with Israel and the United States continues to escalate.
“If this child-killing criminal remains alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the IRGC stated on its website, Sepah News, according to reports from the Agence France-Presse on Sunday, 15 March 2026.
The NDTV news agency reported that the statement emerged amid social media posts raising questions about Netanyahu’s whereabouts. Several users highlighted concerns about a Netanyahu video from 13 March, which appeared to show him with six fingers on one hand, prompting suspicions that the video had been edited using artificial intelligence or AI.
Israel and the United States launched strikes against Iran on 28 February 2026. The Israeli-American assault resulted in the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was Iran’s supreme leader at the time.
Iran subsequently retaliated by attacking Israel, US military bases in Gulf nations, and closing the Strait of Hormuz. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu disappeared during Iran’s sustained retaliatory campaign.
According to Reuters, Netanyahu reappeared on Friday, 13 March 2026. He appeared standing between two Israeli flags and answered questions via video link.
Netanyahu stated that Iran “is no longer the same” after nearly two weeks of bombardment. He claimed that the IRGC and the Basij paramilitary forces had suffered significant losses.
He also vowed to continue attacking Lebanon’s Hezbollah in response to a Hezbollah assault on Monday, 2 March. When asked what further actions Israel would take against Iran and Hezbollah, he declined to elaborate.
