Iran Attacked by US and Israel; Bali Flights Disrupted

Multiple flights from Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport have been impacted by airspace closures in several countries following a major military assault launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on Sunday, 1 March 2026.

Flights to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Ngurah Rai Airport experienced delays and flight schedule adjustments. These figures were based on data as of 11:00 WITA on Sunday, 1 March.

Coordination was also undertaken with AirNav Indonesia to monitor affected airspace, alongside coordination with security apparatus as a precautionary measure regarding the security situation at Ngurah Rai Airport.

Based on airline data, five flights affected by schedule adjustments involved a total of 1,631 prospective passengers. Handling of all affected passengers was carried out in accordance with the policies of their respective airlines.

The combined US and Israeli assault on Iran occurred on Saturday, 28 February. Iran subsequently retaliated by firing missiles at Israel and Arab nations hosting US forces, including Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
